Paul Okoye has revealed what his wife, Ivy Zenny, did that made him realise she was the one.
In an interview with Clout Africa, Paul stated that marriage is fun, but not a do-or-di£ affair, and that separation is allowed.
The singer, whose stage name is Rudeboy, explained that some of his songs were influenced by his experience in relationships, including Reason With Me, which was inspired by an ex.
He added that after his marriage failed, he tried relationships with three other girls but they all failed his tests, until he met Ivy, who is now his wife.
He explained that he was looking for someone with whom he could be at peace and Ivy was that person. He added that she was just her real self.
He went on to narrate the first time he asked to take her shopping and she picked only two clothes and told him how the money would have bought her many clothes in Tejuosho market. He said this moved him greatly.
“She was real,” the host said.
“Thank you,” Rudeboy responded.
He also addressed the court case he had with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to Paul Okoye, of the now-defunct P-Square group, he has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
“And I’ve been cleared, by the way, by the EFCC. In due time, we’re going to put out the statement,” he said.
Paul Okoye was married to Anita Okoye and they share three children. He is now married to Ivy Zenny, with whom he shares one daughter.
