A Nigerian woman, Buithat Hudu, has said that her husband’s second wife must be a high-value lady
because her marriage is not a charity organisation.
Hudu, who stated this in a Facebook post on Wednesday, March 25, said any woman vying for the position should start by buying a car for her.
According to her, she has invested in her man emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually and doesn’t need a liability as a co-wife.
“Any woman that wants to date my husband and later become second wife should budget for a car for me first. Let’s start from there,” she wrote.
Because what exactly are you coming to enjoy? Free benefits? In this economy?
I have invested 10 good years of my life in this man, emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually. I built what you’re coming to admire.
I did the hard part. What is left now is just maintenance and finishing touches.
So no, you cannot come and reap where you did not sow. This is not a charity organization.
And I’ve already told him clearly, no “belle-face” candidates.
We are not recruiting liabilities. If she doesn’t have her own life, her own hustle, her own direction, abeg carry her go front.
We are still trying to stabilize, you now want to add someone whose only skill is billing? You want to drag us back to the village together?
If there must be a second wife, she should come with value, not expenses. Contribution, not consumption.
Because at this point, anything less than a car is disrespect.
