Brooklyn Beckham took a brutal swipe at his mother, Victoria Beckham, by not mentioning her when he made a post to celebrate his mother-in-law on UK Mother’s Day.
On Sunday, March 15, the aspiring chef posted a belated birthday shoutout to his mother-in-law, Claudia Peltz, in a heartfelt message.
“Happy birthday to the best mother in law,” he wrote alongside a photo of his wife, Nicola Peltz, and Claudia, who turned 71 on March 12. “Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.”
Victoria, however, was honored by her husband, David Beckham, and their other three kids, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14.
In January, Brooklyn released a scathing statement on social media, saying he didn’t want to reconcile with his famous parents.
“I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade,” the former photographer added.
Brooklyn also alleged that Victoria and David, 50, attempted to sabotage his relationship with Nicola, whom he started dating in 2019.
