Immigration officer found d3ad in Calabar, police begin investigation

The Cross River Police Command has commenced investigation into the sudden and unnatural d3ath of a 30-year-old Immigration officer in Calabar.

 

Joy Benson of Holland Street, Calabar, informed the police that her younger brother, Wofai Benson Akpama, was found d3ad in his room at No. 34 Mbora Street, security analyst Zagazola Makama reported. 

 

Detectives were immediately detailed to the scene where the remains were observed.

 

Police sources said no visible marks of violence were discovered on the body and no foul play was initially suspected.

 

The corpse was subsequently evacuated to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) for preservation and autopsy.

 

The command said investigation had commenced and further developments would be communicated as findings emerge.
