Commercial minibus drivers popularly known as Korokpe operators have taken to the streets to protest the recent restriction placed on their operations by the Lagos State Government.
The drivers say the directive has severely disrupted their livelihoods, leaving many unable to work and meet daily financial obligations.
According to them, the ban has also created transport gaps in several areas across Lagos, forcing commuters to struggle with fewer mobility options and higher fares.
Protesters are now calling for urgent dialogue with the state government, urging authorities to reconsider the policy or provide a workable alternative that will allow them continue operating without losing their source of income.
