The family of Justice Okereke Ezechimere, who was accused of domestic violence has denied the allegations, claiming that his wife is the aggressor.  It will be recalled that his wife, Esther Okereke, a popular hair vendor, who accused her husband, took to social media to raise the alarm, alleging that Justice assaulted her and plans to k!ll her in order to steal her house and other property. read here In a viral video, Esther revealed that she has endured eight years of abuse and vi0lence in the marriage.  According to her, she recently returned to Nigeria from a business trip in Vietnam and noticed that her husband allegedly took her documents and left their house. Justice was reportedly arrested on February 10 and taken to Ago Police Station from where he was later transferred to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja.  However, a family source alleged that Esther always hit Justice but he has never touched her for once. The source also claimed that Esther’s mother once slapped Justice and tore his clothes.  According to the source, the couple built the house together but once completed, Esther decided she was no longer interested in the marriage and wanted to throw Justice out, which prompted him to remove their house document for safe keeping. Videos made available by the source shows Justices cousin in a bl00d-spattered shirt.   A short video shows Justices cousin trying to get away from Esther’s grip. This Esther the Hairhouse Lady  on the day the event she posted on line happened. the family source explained Her husband is the one trying to capture the moment but stopped immediately she turned because he knows what she can do. She only likes events to be captured her way.She was hitting her husband’s cousin, after giving him a headbutt; the blood came from my cousin’s mouth, Engr Ugochukwu Obasi. Please take note also that Engr. Ugochukwu obasi was contracted from Port Harcourt to lagos by my brother Justice Ezechimere Okereke to build this house from foundation to finish. Because, he studied civil engineering in federal University of science and technology Owerri. His only offense is that she doesn’t want to see him in their home any longer. He left that day even though Justice wanted him to stay because 7 members of his wife’s family were living in that house with them.These her family members include her mum, a young woman who basically spends 10 – 11 months in every year in her daughters home and only visits her husband and her other children like 3 weeks or a month in a year, since her daughters marriage to Justice. Their neighbors can testify, and I am sure that their family and neighbors in Port Harcourt can testify to this.”Her mother’s sister and her daughter live in that same house with them with other of her family members. Their neighbors in Ago, Okota, where they live, can testify.”No member of Justice immediate family lives with them, and for the record, this same guy she is asking to live the house is the same engineer that built that same house for them from start to finish.They moved into that house last year October/November, 2025, and this video was taken in December 2025… the source claimed In another video, the source said on January 11, the police took some of the cars in the compound as collateral.  This video was taken on the 11th of February, as stated in the video. The same day, she posted the video, the source explained. “Her husband was arrested a day before on the 10th of February and was taken to Ago Police station where he was moved to Munich Police station and was later transferred to FCID Abuja where he is even at this moment. “As you can see, just a clip of how she treats her husband and will not want any form of record about it.  “It’s the husband’s voice that is in the background calling her pet names and begging her if she is not tired. That question goes a long way.  “He is the one who is always begging,  apologizing even when he is not wrong, just for peace to rain, but she is not done with him yet. “The video was done in their home when officers came to their house to collect their vehicles before they moved them to Abuja that same night. “Immediately, their home was completed. She wanted her husband out of the house, which prompted the husband to remove their house document for safe keeping.  “The property belongs to both of them but wants the man out. He was arrested because she claimed that he owed her friend 500 million so they could collect the property and remove her husband’s name from it. “She has been saying online that she wants divorce but has not presented any document for the husband to sign.  “Instead, she has been asking the husband to file for the divorce, which his Lawyer advised him against. Justice is still in FCID Abuja, where he is oblivious to the fact that he is trending for an offense he has  never committed in his life.  “He has never once touched his wife, but his wife’s mother has slapped him once and tore his clothes.  “As for the wife, she is the one who is always hitting the husband, and he wouldn’t hit back claiming that the wife is asthmatic. Justice has been going through a lot, and all their neighbors and friends, including the wifes friends that are truthful, can testify to this.
