The Senegalese Football Federation has confirmed a 24-player squad for the Lionesses of Teranga ahead of their two-legged clash against Nigeria’s Falconets in the third round of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026 qualifiers.
Head coach Mbayang Thiam has assembled her squad for the decisive encounter, which will see Senegal travel to Abeokuta for the first leg on February 7, before hosting the return fixture in Thiès on February 14.
Saturday’s fixture represents the penultimate round of African qualifying for Poland 2026.
The winner on aggregate will advance to the final qualification round, where they will face either Guinea-Bissau or Malawi for one of Africa’s coveted World Cup slots.

In goal, Yakhara Diagne (AS Bambey) and Fatou Nidaiye Camara (Lycée Ameth Fall) have been confirmed as part of the setup.

Team Arrival and Preparations
The Lionesses of Teranga arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday night, flying into Lagos before making the road trip to Abeokuta.
The team held its first training session on Wednesday evening at the African Church Grammar School, Abeokuta, as preparations intensify for Saturday’s first leg.

CAF has appointed Ugandan referee Diana Murungi to officiate the first-leg encounter.
She will be assisted by Immaculate Ongiera and Elizabeth Nassolo, with Suavis Iratunga of Burundi serving as fourth official.
Christine Ziga (Ghana) will act as match commissioner, while Berthe Minka (Gabon) has been named referee assessor.
