A Nigerian prophet, Abiri Elijah, has stirred reactions online after Nigeria’s defeat to Morocco in the AFCON semi-finals.
Elijah, who had earlier predicted that Morocco would win the match, took to social media following the game to recount his warning ahead of the encounter.
Prophet claims to have foreseen scores
He claimed that although he foresaw Morocco’s victory, the outcome could have been altered if Nigerian music star Davido had placed a call to him.
Attributes loss to Davido
In his post, the prophet congratulated Morocco for advancing to the final and praised Nigeria for reaching the semi-finals. He also asserted that he accurately predicted the 4–2 penalty shootout result, attributing Nigeria’s loss to Davido’s failure to contact him as allegedly requested.
