Teen actor Owen Cooper has made history at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards after winning Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series at just 16 years old.
The young star earned the award for his role in Netflix’s psychological crime drama Adolescence, officially becoming the youngest winner ever in the category.
During his emotional acceptance speech, Cooper said the moment didn’t feel real, thanking his family and everyone who supported his journey into acting.
He also shared how he took a risk by enrolling in drama classes despite being the only boy there at the time, admitting it was awkward but worth it.
