Nollywood star Kate Henshaw and a lawyer on X traded words after she criticised Justice Olukayode Bada over the acquittal of Dr Olufemi Francis Olaleye — who has now been remanded in the UK.
Kate Henshaw had posted that the appellate court judge should “hide his face in shame,” accusing him of freeing the doctor who is now facing fresh charges abroad.
The lawyer fired back, calling her comments “ignorant” and explaining that the Court of Appeal is handled by a three-man panel, not a single judge. He added that acquittal in Nigeria does not determine the outcome of a separate case in the UK, as both involve different charges and different victims.
Kate Henshaw responded with insults of her own, dragging him for his remarks and insisting on her stance.
