Channing Tatum and ex-wife Jenna Dewan?s long divorce battle resurfaces as new court filing reveals how they?ll finally split their money

New documents have revealed fresh details about Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s divorce settlement — and it all ties back to pensions, profits, and their long-running fight over Magic Mike.

A November 26 court filing shows the former couple agreed to split their Screen Actors Guild producers’ pension plans 50/50 for everything earned during their marriage from 2009 to 2018, Daily Mail reported.

Dewan will receive half of Tatum’s pension for that period, and he will receive the same percentage from hers. This quiet arrangement finally settles the dispute over Tatum’s massive Magic Mike profits — the movie Dewan claimed was partly financed during the marriage.

Their reps have not commented publicly.

Although the exes reached a settlement in September 2024, the breakdown only became public through the latest filing.

Tatum and Dewan’s story dates back to 2006 when they starred in Step Up and fell in love onscreen and off. They married in 2009 and welcomed their daughter, Everly, in 2013.

But by April 2018, the marriage was over. Dewan filed for divorce that October, and they were declared legally single in 2019. The finances, however, dragged on for years — especially the fight over Magic Mike.

The 2012 film, made on a $7 million budget, exploded into a global hit worth over $167 million. Dewan insisted she was entitled to half of Tatum’s earnings, while his legal team pushed back.

Things got tense when Dewan accused Tatum’s team of withholding financial documents and both Steven Soderbergh and Dewan’s fiancé, actor Steve Kazee, were lined up as potential witnesses.

Tatum later accused her of delaying settlement talks, saying he had made “countless proposals” and did not believe she was owed spousal support.

The Magic Mike franchise went on to produce two more films, a Las Vegas stage show, and even a reality series — making it one of Tatum’s most profitable projects.

Since their split, Dewan and Steve Kazee have welcomed two children together, while Tatum moved on to high-profile relationships, including Jessie J and Zoë Kravitz, before his most recent romance with model Inka Williams.

After years of back-and-forth, the pension split finally closes a major chapter in one of Hollywood’s longest-running divorce battles.
