Nigerian singer Terry G has spoken out in defence of Burna Boy after a viral video showed the singer sending out sleeping concertgoers during his performance.
It would be recalled that the afrobeats singer had sent out a couple for sleeping during his concert, an incident that had caused many to boycott his shows.

Terry G slams critics
Reacting to the clip, Terry G questioned why anyone would attend a music show only to fall asleep, arguing that the same behaviour wouldn’t be tolerated in a religious setting.
Terry G opined that people are holding him accountable just because he is now big and popular.
Terry G compares incident with Church
He stated that if the situation happened in a church, ushers would immediately wake the person up, yet people expect Burna Boy to ignore it simply because he is an entertainer.

According to Terry G, moments like this are often captured by cameras and used to discredit an artist’s performance, and he believes it is unfair.
He said …
“Una too like to dey hold people accountable just because say dey don be public figure
If it happened in a church and someone was found sleeping, would the pastors not ask the ushers to wake them up, Because he’s musician, you are going to his show to sleep, so the camera can capture that moment and spoil his show”
