Popular YouTuber and content creator Jack Doherty has been arrested in the Miami area, TMZ has confirmed. He was taken into custody by Miami Beach Police outside a smoke shop and booked into Florida’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center shortly before 9 AM on three charges: possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting arrest.
According to police, Jack was found with amphetamine, a prescription medication most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy, as well as less than 20 grams of marijuana. His bond has been set at $3,500, though records show he has not yet posted it.
Hours before the arrest, Jack had been streaming live on Parti and sharing footage from a yacht in Miami. His recent posts included video of himself enjoying the outing before police later encountered him at the smoke shop.
Jack Doherty, who first rose to prominence in 2017 after clips of him flipping a variety of objects went viral, has built a massive online presence with more than 13 million followers across TikTok and Instagram and 15 million subscribers on YouTube. His arrest has already sparked reactions across social platforms as fans wait for official updates.
