
All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has called for the dismissal of a soldier who clashed with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, during an inspection in Abuja.

The incident occurred when the unidentified soldier reportedly blocked Wike and officials of the FCTA from accessing a section of land within the territory.

The soldier, who claimed to be acting on orders, insisted that the minister would not be allowed entry onto the property, prompting a heated exchange between both parties.
The confrontation, which has since gone viral, drew public attention to the growing tension between government officials and security personnel during enforcement operations in the capital city.
Joe Igbokwe berates soldier
Reacting to the development, Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to condemn the soldier’s actions, describing them as insubordination and a direct challenge to constituted authority.
He further questioned who might have been backing the officer, insisting that such conduct was unacceptable and demanding immediate disciplinary action to preserve respect for government authority.

“Who is this man in uniform? Of what meat is he fed? Who is beating the drum for him? This is unacceptable? His uniform has to be removed.” This is the young man, Lt. Yarima that challenged FCT 001 HE Nwike. The young officer has no respect for constituted authority. This is unacceptable. His uniform should be removed asap.
