Nigerian media expert, Alabi Lawrence, has said that the habit of leaving dirty dishes in the sink overnight is rooted in poverty. 

“Don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight. It’s a mindset rooted in poverty. You’ll never walk into a wealthy person’s kitchen and find a single unwashed plate,” he wrote in a post on Friday.
