American p.ornstar Devyn Michaels accused of b3heading her ‘baby daddy’ to marry his son

The gruesome details of a bizarre love triangle are being laid bare in a Las Vegas courtroom as former adult film actress Devyn Michaels, 45, stands trial for the murder and decapitation of her ex-partner and father of her two children, Johnathan Willette, 47. Willette’s headless body was discovered at his Henderson, Nevada, home in 2023. Prosecutors allege Michaels committed the shocking crime to clear the way for a domestic life with her new husbandwho is Willettes own son, Deviere Willette. This twisted relationship made the victim, Johnathan Willette, the defendants new father-in-law.Deputy District Attorney John Giordani painted the defendant as a cold-blooded killer driven by a desire for a happy, unconventional family unit. This is the future that she saw and that she wanted, and the only way to have that future was with John out of the picture, Giordani told the jury. The prosecution alleges Michaels wanted her new husband, Deviere, to raise her two children as his own, rather than as half-siblings. According to a police report, the victims horrified mother discovered his headless corpse doused in chemicals and smoking.  Prosecutors claim Michaels drove with the severed head to her home and disposed of it in the trash; authorities have yet to find either the head or the murder weapon.Michaels defense attorney, Robert Draskovich, did not deny the existence of the twisted love triangle but immediately accused Deviere Willette, the victims son and Michaels husband, of being the true killer. The defense argued that Michaels had asked Deviere for a divorce, intending to reconcile with the victim, Johnathan. Draskovich claimed that Deviere, facing eviction and the loss of his wife, attacked his father in a jealous rage.Deviere was getting kicked out, he was no longer going to be in this relationship because Dad, the dad he hated, was coming in and not only taking his home, but taking his wife, the attorney told the jury. Michaels initially gave investigators a different story, claiming she struck the man with a wooden stick when he tried to force a sexual act on her.
