Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again taken a swipe at Afrobeats superstar Davido, claiming that fellow artist Burna Boy gave him N20 million without any stress.
The street-hop musician made the remarks during a recent Instagram live session, where he spoke about support and authenticity in the music industry.

Portable stated that despite never having met Burna Boy in person, the Grammy-winning artist still extended a helping hand to him, which he described as a genuine act of kindness.
Portable slams Davido
He contrasted this with Davido’s attitude, suggesting that the DMW boss often portrays himself as generous but does not truly assist upcoming artists as he claims.

The Zazu crooner went further to criticize those who rely on inherited wealth, saying that having a rich background does not equate to personal success. According to him, what truly matters is individual achievement and the ability to stand independently without depending on family wealth.
Portable and Davido’s beef
This latest outburst adds to the ongoing tension between Portable and Davido. The feud between the two artists began after Portable accused Davido of unfollowing him on social media following their meeting in the United States earlier this year.
Since then, the singer has repeatedly thrown subtle and direct shades at the “Unavailable” crooner in his online rants.

“Even Burna Boy that I’ve never set my eyes on gave me ₦20 Million, unlike Davido. It’s not by having a rich father whose money isn’t yours, it’s by having your own. Whoever really wants to help you won’t stress you.”
