Things are heating up between rappers Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla, and not in the way fans expected, after a social media move hinted at some serious tension between the two rappers who once shared the stage during their massively successful Hot Girl Summer Tour.
The drama started when an X (Twitter) user, @gymratgyal, posted a shady message claiming, “We all know she started being bitter after she was outsold by GloRilla lmfaoooo.” What caught everyone’s attention was that GloRilla liked the post, seemingly co-signing the jab aimed at Megan.
The interaction quickly went viral, with fans accusing Glo of throwing shade and reigniting rumors of a fallout between her and Megan.
But that wasn’t all — the tension appears to have spilled over into their fashion circles. Celebrity stylist EJ King, who previously worked with Megan but is now styling GloRilla, has been publicly spotted with her, including at an NBA game cheering on Glo’s boyfriend, Brandon Ingram.
EJ King’s renewed partnership with Glo comes after his very public fallout with Megan in the aftermath of the Tory Lanez shooting in 2020. Meanwhile, Megan’s current stylist, Kellon Deryck, appeared to respond indirectly, quoting Cardi B’s viral line, “You ain’t no Kellon,” which fans interpreted as a subtle dig at EJ.
The stylist rivalry has now drawn both artists back into the spotlight, fueling speculation that the friendship between the two stars has soured.
It’s a sharp contrast from earlier this year when Megan and GloRilla were riding high together, grossing $40.2 million across 30 shows on their Hot Girl Summer Tour.
