Economic illiterate – Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga attacks Rufai Oseni after he shared an article accusing President Tinubu of being the mastermind of Nigeria’s debt crisis

Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga has described media personality, Rufai Oseni, as an ‘’economic illiterate.”

It all started after Rufai shared the screenshot of an article that accused President Tinubu of being the mastermind of Nigeria’s debt crisis. Rufai who is very critical of the Tinubu-led administration, shared the screenshot on his X handle.

Onanuga who is the Special Adviser to President on Information and Strategy, took to the comment section to slam Rufai, describing him as an economic illiterate. He argued that all sovereign nations borrow and that Nigeria has not breached the limit allowed by law to borrow.

Rufai in his response, pointed out that the media aide to the President doesn’t need to insult him but should counter the claims made in the article.
