Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has reacted to rumours claiming she secretly got married.
Speculations had circulated that the “Maradona” hitmaker stepped away from the spotlight because she tied the knot privately.
However, speaking in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the 38-year-old dismissed the claims, saying she is not married.
“I don’t care whatever anyone does or says regarding my personal life. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married,” she said.
Addressing talks about working with her younger sister, singer Teni, Niniola explained that a collaboration will only happen when the time and circumstances are right.
She added that music is a business, and there’s no family in business.
