‎Nigerian-American commentator, Wendy Osefo, reportedly removed as professor at Wesleyan University.

‎This report follows after Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were booked on fraud charges on October 9, 2025.

Wendy Osenfo reportedly removed as professor at Wesleyan university

‎The charges against Osefo and her husband, Eddie, include 34 felony and misdemeanor counts, such as conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and making false statements to law enforcements

‎The couple allegedly faked a home burglary in April 2024, claiming theft of designer items and jewelry worth around $500,000.

Meanwhile, Wendy Osenfo or her husband is yet to break silence on the swirling report.

It’s worth noting that Wendy Osefo joined Wesleyan University in Fall 2024 and was teaching a course titled ‘The Sociology of Reality TV: Race, Colorism, and Xenophobia’.

Prior to joining Wesleyan University, Wendy Osefo taught at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, where she held a tenured position before resigning in 2024.

She holds degrees from Temple University, Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Community Development from Rutgers University.

These are a testament to her dedication to education and her field of expertise.

She’s a prominent figure in academic and media circles, known for her work as a professor, political commentator, and television personality.

Additionally, she has featured on a star of Bravo’s reality TV show, “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” where she shares her life experiences and insights with a wider audience.
