The charges against Osefo and her husband, Eddie, include 34 felony and misdemeanor counts, such as conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and making false statements to law enforcements
The couple allegedly faked a home burglary in April 2024, claiming theft of designer items and jewelry worth around $500,000.
Meanwhile, Wendy Osenfo or her husband is yet to break silence on the swirling report.
It’s worth noting that Wendy Osefo joined Wesleyan University in Fall 2024 and was teaching a course titled ‘The Sociology of Reality TV: Race, Colorism, and Xenophobia’.
Prior to joining Wesleyan University, Wendy Osefo taught at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, where she held a tenured position before resigning in 2024.
She holds degrees from Temple University, Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Community Development from Rutgers University.
