A little girl was found wandering alone in Berger, Lagos State, and a video of her was shared online, helping her family identify her.
A businesswoman found the child on her street and began asking questions. The girl could not provide her address but was able to give her name and also the name of her school.
The video went viral and this helped the girl’s family to locate her.
The girl’s mother, who went to the scene to pick up her child, said her pastor’s wife called her with her daughter’s whereabouts after seeing the video of the missing girl online.
The sister of the little girl who was supposed to be watching her said she went to fetch water, leaving her to wander.
The video has sparked conversations about being vigilant when looking after kids.
