Big Brother Naija Season 10 runner-up, Dede, has opened up about why she cannot pursue a romantic relationship with fellow ex-housemate, Kola, despite their closeness in the house.
During the show, Dede and Kola were involved in a complicated relationship, with Kola openly expressing romantic interest even after Dede revealed that she was already in a committed relationship outside the house.

Their on-screen chemistry had sparked conversations among fans, many of whom speculated about a possible future together, since they seemed to have connected so well.
In a post-show interview with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Dede admitted that she genuinely likes Kola and described him as “an amazing person.”
Dede dashes hopes
However, she clarified that her feelings were not strong enough to translate into a romantic connection.
She noted that she likes Kola, but not enough to date him, emphasizing that her emotions didn’t go beyond friendship.
“I do like Kola but it is not enough for a relationship. I do like him. He is an amazing person. I would always sing his praise regardless of what it is. But it’s not enough for what we thought it is,” she said.
Dede also confessed that at some point during the show, she grew bored of the dynamic between them, suggesting that their relationship had run its course even before the season ended.
