The corpse of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, found in singer D4VD’s Tesla, has been released to her family, amid ongoing investigation.
As previously reported by GistReel, Celeste Rivas’ body was found in D4VD’s Tesla on September 8, 2025, in the trunk of the vehicle at a Hollywood tow yard.
After over a week, investigators identified the body as Celeste Rivas through dental records and a distinctive tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”.
Reports claim that D4VD has a similar tattoo, which remains unconfirmed.

According to a report from TMZ, Celeste Rivas’ corpse has been released to her family, as disclosed by the Los Angeles County authorities.

The Los Angeles Police Department is treating the case as a homicide investigation, but no suspects have been identified.
Meanwhile, D4VD, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is cooperating with authorities.
D4VD’s shows in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles have been canceled, and an event at the Grammy Museum has also been canceled.
Additionally, his label, Interscope, has put a hold on all promotional activities, and brands including Crocs and Hollister have pulled back on campaigns featuring D4VD, citing the ongoing investigation.
Amid the investigation, D4VD has canceled his US tour and the release of a deluxe album.
His upcoming tour dates in Europe and the UK have also been canceled due to the investigation.
