Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Tracy, has reflected on her time in the reality show, admitting that her calm and authentic personality may have contributed to her early exit.
In her post-eviction interview with Pulse, Tracy explained that while she initially chose to remain true to herself, she now believes that adopting a more dramatic or confrontational approach might have increased her visibility and kept her longer in the competition.
She said …
“If I could take back anything I did in the house, it’ll be being myself, because right now I wish I got into unnecessary fights or shouting or being dramatic. I feel like that would have made me stay longer because according to people, I was quiet and boring”
Tracy speaks on double identity of housemates
Tracy admitted that she misjudged how performative the show could be, realizing only afterwards that some housemates deliberately played exaggerated roles as a strategy, and later revealed their real personalities once outside the house.
“I wish I realized it was a game and I could act out of character and clear the air once I’m out,” she added.
