Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the attack on Nigerian singer Lil Kesh at his Lagos residence.
The suspects — Mathew Adewole, 25, and Mukhtar Muhammad, 31 — were picked up in Kano after intelligence tracking.
According to police spokesperson SP Abdullahi Haruna, Adewole confessed to attacking the singer on August 19, inflicting a deep cut on his neck before forcing him to transfer ₦2.1 million to Mukhtar’s account.
The men have since been transferred to the Lagos State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
