According to a report from TMZ, Sidney ‘Omen’ Brown’s corpse was found in his apartment in Harlem, New York.

How Omen Brown Was Discovered Dead

TMZ reports that Omen Brown was discovered dead on September 13, 2025, after a staff member at his workplace expressed concern by contacting his family about his absence from his shift.

Autopsy to Determine Cause of Death

While the circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown, the NYC medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the circumstances surrounding his demise.

Prior to his death, Omen Brown collaborated with renowned singers which include;

– Beyoncé: He worked on her critically acclaimed song “Mine” featuring Drake in 2013, and also contributed to her groundbreaking album.

 Lemonade (2016), specifically on tracks like “Hold Up” and “Sorry.

Drake: Brown produced songs like “Shut It Down” featuring The-Dream in 2009.

Ludacris: He co-wrote and produced the song “Tell It Like It Is” for Ludacris’ album “Release Therapy”, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2007.

Rihanna: Brown added urban flair to tracks like “Work” on her album “Anti” (2016).

The Weeknd: He collaborated with Brown on some of his projects, highlighting Brown’s ability to fuse genres and influence a generation of producers.

Lil Wayne: Brown worked with Lil Wayne on various projects, showcasing his versatility across genres.

Meanwhile condolenes and tributes pour in from fans and industry colleagues over his passing.

Omen Brown’s Family Background

Omen Brown, whose full name is Sidney “Omen” Brown, was the son of Martha Brown.

He completed his B.A. in sociology and music at Amherst College in 2013.

Additionally, he earned his master’s degree in theological studies at Boston University in 2016.
