Nigerian music superstar Davido has opened up about what truly matters to him beyond fame and fortune.
Davido spoke on this when asked what he wishes people asked him more often.
In a recent interview, the singer emphasized that small gestures of care, like simply asking how he is, mean more to him than money or material gifts
Davido notes he wants care
He noted that he obviously doesn’t want people’s money, but asking him how he is allows him to unburden and speak out his mind.
The Afrobeats star stressed that those 5, 10 minutes talks go a long way, particularly during times of intense stress.
The interviewer asked:
“What is something you wished you got asked more?”
Davido replied: “How’re you? Because you’ll just be stressed out. Just the little things. People just asking you how are you and then having 5 to 10 minutes talks could do a lot. I obviously don’t want your money. Cause I’m up, you know. It’s just the little things that count.”
