Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has cleared the air on long-standing claims that she once trolled her colleague, Wizkid.
For years, social media users speculated that Savage shaded the Starboy boss after their alleged fallout, despite neither artist confirming a rift.
The issue resurfaced recently when a Wizkid fan assured Savage of Starboy FC’s support, but another user countered, alleging she had mocked Wizkid in the past.
“Which Fc? Abeg move on madam. U Were been follow troll wizzy dah year. Now they have left u behind,” the Wizkid FC wrote.
In response, a fan asked AI chatbot Grok whether Savage had ever trolled Wizkid. The bot clarified that there was no evidence of such an act. Relieved by the response, Savage broke her silence on the matter.
“Thank you o, have never done that. But they have just ran with this narrative and I have just kept quiet,” she wrote.
Tiwa Savage and Wizkid once set the internet ablaze in 2018 following their undeniable chemistry in the music video of Fever, which fueled dating rumours. Both artists, however, later confirmed they were never romantically involved.
