Tragedy strikes as Katie Slaton, cousin of American reality TV stars, Tammy and Amy Slaton from ‘1000-lb Sisters,’ passes away.
Amanda Halterman, a social media personality and Katie Slaton’s cousin, announced her passing via an Instagram post, describing her as “a force to be reckoned with” and highlighting her loving nature.
“My little cousin went to sit at the feet of Jesus yesterday. She was a force to be reckoned with and showed love that was accepting and given freely. She was the life of the party and my best friend”, She stated in the post.
Furthermore, Amanda Halterman requested prayers for Katie’s loved ones, specifically her partner Natalie and their children.
Prior to her death, Katie Slaton battled gastric adenocarcinoma, an aggressive form of stomach cancer, and was a frequent guest on the reality TV show “1000-lb Sisters.
