Travis Renee Baldwin, a 57-year-old makeup artist who worked for Newsmax and Greta Van Susteren, was fatally shot in Arlington, Virginia, over the weekend, according to local authorities. Police say Baldwin’s son, Logan Chrisinger, pulled the trigger in what is being investigated as a murder.

Family sources told TMZ that Baldwin left her home around 3:20 a.m. Sunday to assist her son during a crisis. She had been FaceTiming with Chrisinger that morning when he reportedly threatened to kill himself and brandished a firearm. Sources added that Chrisinger had a history of mental health struggles and had previously threatened Baldwin. He was reportedly under significant stress, having recently lost his job and fearing he might lose his apartment.
