Ossai Ovie Success, a special assistant to the Delta State Governor, has criticized musician Davido and his wife, Chioma, for planning a wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida.
The couple, who previously held an extravagant traditional wedding, are now preparing for what many are calling the grand finale of their union.
Sharing his opinion on Facebook, Ossai described the upcoming celebration as financially wasteful.
He expressed disappointment, arguing that having substantial wealth shouldn’t justify extravagant spending.
He further pointed out that prominent figures like Dangote, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg would not indulge in such excess.
Ossai also questioned the purpose of hosting another elaborate white wedding abroad after already conducting a lavish traditional one over a year ago.
