Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) has reportedly sacked Shannon Sharpe as its sports analyst.
This comes after Shannon Sharpe settled a $50 million lawsuit filed by an ex-girlfriend who accused him of rape and physical abuse.
According to reports, the lawsuit was settled for over 50 million dollars, which remains unconfirmed.
Recall that Shannon Sharpe temporarily stepped away from his ESPN duties on April 24, 2025, following a $50 million lawsuit alleging sexual assault and battery.
Shannon Sharpe stated he would focus on his family and respond to the allegations.
However, ESPN supported his decision due to the seriousness of the situation.
