Diddy posts and deletes eye emoji on X

Fans were left puzzled on Friday evening after Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared to post, and then quickly delete, an eye emoji on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, prompting a wave of speculation online.

The post marked a rare moment of activity for the embattled music mogul, who has largely remained silent on the social media platform since facing a series of legal and personal controversies. The cryptic emoji disappeared within minutes, leaving followers to wonder about its intended message.

Some social media users suggested the deleted post might be teasing new music, while others speculated it could be a cryptic reference to recent developments in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Notably, rumors have circulated online about a federal meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, during which her legal team allegedly claimed she named 100 individuals connected to Epstein.

Diddy’s team has yet to respond to requests for comment regarding the now-vanished post.

The deleted message stands out against Combs’ generally quiet presence on X. His last major post was in May, when he shared a family photo. Early Saturday morning, he promoted a new collaboration between his son, King Combs, and Kanye West, titled “DIDDY FREE.”

Kanye has publicly supported Combs in recent months, advocating for his release from federal custody. Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City after being convicted in June on two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious racketeering conspiracy and s3x trafficking charges. Bail was denied, and sentencing is scheduled for October.

According to sources close to the case, Diddy is participating in rehabilitation and personal development programs while in custody, aimed at addressing substance use and his history of violence against women.
