Nigerians on social media were taken aback this afternoon after former presidential aide and political commentator, Reno Omokri, took to social media to wish his political ‘enemy’ Peter Obi, a Happy Birthday,
Obi who was the presidential flagbearer for Labour Party in the 2023 general election, turns 64 today July 19. Reno who has been persistently critical of OPbi and has seized every opportunity to berate him, took to his social media handle to celebrate and wish him a happy birthday.
According to Reno, he does not in any way hate Obi but only stands up to speak against Obi whenever he demarkets Nigeria.
‘’”When Peter Obi criticizes the President, do you guys think he hates the President? No! So why do you think I hate him when I oppose him? I mean, we cannot be people who are governed by our emotions? If you rule by your emotions, you are going to be ruled by people who rule their emotions.
