Surveillance video from a store in St. Augustine, Florida, captured the moment when an employee was dragged by a man who tried to put her inside a truck during an attempted kidnapping.
Theodore Tundidor, 31, was charged with kidnapping, grand theft auto and robbery.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, on June 29, deputies arrived at a store located at 1054 State Road 206 East after receiving reports of a man trying to force a woman into his vehicle.
Deputies said Tundidor robbed the business and then forcefully took the victim.
Surveillance video shows the victim screaming for help and fighting bravely as Tundidor took her to his truck. She was eventually able to break free and got the attention of a person who helped her and called deputies.
Tundidor then fled the scene but was found by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, who took him into custody.
