Kid Cudi has tied the knot with his longtime partner, Lola Abecassis Sartore, in a glamorous ceremony held in her hometown in the South of France. The wedding, which took place on June 28 at the luxurious Hôtel Cap-Estel, came just weeks after the rapper testified in the federal case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Cudi and Sartore’s love story began seven years ago when they met at Virgil Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton fashion show. In a tribute to the late designer, the couple included a bounce castle at their celebration, honoring Abloh’s legacy in a personal and playful way.

The couple’s wedding wardrobe was curated by Saint Laurent, and their custom wedding bands were designed by celebrity jeweler Ben Baller. The rings featured platinum with rose gold accents for Cudi and traditional gold for Lola, symbolizing their unique bond.
Jazz ensemble Badbadnotgood provided live music for the reception, a fitting choice, as they also performed at the 2018 LV show where the couple first met. In another personal touch, Cudi surprised guests with two unreleased songs from his upcoming album “Free,” performing them as a dedication to Lola.
Lola described the event as a “perfect, flawless day” in an interview with Vogue, marking a joyful new chapter for the couple.

The celebratory mood was a sharp contrast from just a month earlier, when Cudi was seen outside a New York courtroom during his testimony in the ongoing legal saga surrounding Diddy. During the trial, he opened up about past tensions involving Diddy, singer Cassie, and a disturbing incident in which his Porsche was allegedly blown up.
Despite recent turbulence, Cudi’s wedding marks a turn toward brighter days, with music, fashion, and love taking center stage.
