WBA lightweight champion,Gervonta Davis has been arrested after being accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend on Father’s Day.
According to reports,Davis went to his ex-girlfriend’s home to pick up their children on Father’s Day (June 15, 2025), but a verbal altercation escalated into a physical one.
However, he allegedly struck her in the back of the head and slapped her in the face.
The security operatives claimed that Davis’ ex-girlfriend sent a text to her mother during the incident, who reportedly filmed a glimpse of the altercation on her phone.
According to the news outlet, Davis refused to sign a Miranda warning form while at the police station.
