Angry students set principal’s house ablaze in Benue after accusing him of failing to register them for NECO exam despite collecting money

Final year students of Gyutiev Model College Saghev Ward, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State have set ablaze the house of their principal, Mr.

Isaac Yina.

 

 

The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, June 27, 2025. 

 

 

According to reports, the aggrieved students through had uncovered that the principal allegedly did not register them for the 2025 National Examination Council, NECO, after collecting N85,000 each from 178 students.
