Newsypeople- In an unexpected change of situation, Sophia Momodu, the first mother of a baby with Nigerian star singer Davido, has made a 102-page statement against his petition for shared care of their child Imade.
The lawsuit document, submitted on April 17, 2024, and having the title “LD/1587PMC/2024”, calls Davido as the person asking for help and Sophia Momodu as the person who has to answer.
This legal fight happens just before Davido’s usual wedding ceremony with his fiancée, Chioma.
In Davido’s first outfit, he said that Sophia is not letting him spend time with their child and she asking for too much money like N5 million each month for a home. He mentioned that even though they split up a long time ago, they had promised to raise their daughter Imade together.
But Sophia disagreed with these claims. She explained that she and Davido were in a relationship from 2020 to 2022, whereas Davido was already involved with Chioma. She also stated that Davido never asked to see Imade, as he left her because she did not agree to have sex with him.
In her written statement, Sophia has reportedly exposed a problem against Davido, saying things that might not be good for the singer. The hearing for this important case is set for Friday, July 5, 2024.
