Disgraced chef Pete Evans has shared a string of dangerous anti-vaxxer opinions online, days after he was banned from Facebook after spreading misinformation on the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 47-year-old has endured a career implosion over the last year, being dropped by over a dozen sponsors for spurting controversial and often harmful opinions on social media.

And despite his ban on Facebook, the delusional cook took to Instagram this week to share even more views on the virus – branding it a ‘scam and a hoax’ and even praising the hundreds of careless backpackers on Sydney’s Bronte Beach on Christmas Day for ‘enjoying life’ amid the pandemic.

On Wednesday, Pete shared a badge with the words ‘Covid is the flu with a better publicist’ emblazoned across the front.

He then shared a list of the ‘top lies of 2020’, before adding one of his own opinions to the list.

‘I will add one more of my favourite lies of 2020 – ‘Pete evans is a Nazi,” he began.

He was of course referring to a Neo-Nazi meme he shared to social media months prior, a move which caused him to be dropped by a string of sponsors and dumped from the line-up of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

‘It is beyond ridiculous that people believed this, but then again… people are wearing masks and being injected for a fake pandemic. Your turn…’ he bizarrely added.

After New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian told Sydneysiders to hold back from kissing on New Years’ Eve to try to control the spread of the virus, Pete made another shock statement as he wrote: ‘The clown show continues.

‘This has never been about a virus and it definitely has nothing to do with your health. This is a scam and a hoax. Stupidity and corruption is the virus.’

He also praised the careless group of backpackers who hit Bronte Beach for a party on Christmas Day, writing: ‘Great to see Humans enjoying life instead of being told to live in fear of nonsense and lies.’

It comes after Pete’s Facebook page – which boasted over 1.5 million likes – was removed for sharing misinformation about the pandemic.

A Facebook company spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia Evans’ page was removed due to repeated violations of their misinformation and harm policy.

‘We don’t allow anyone to share misinformation about COVID-19 that could lead to imminent physical harm or COVID-19 vaccines that have been debunked by health experts,’ the spokesperson said.

‘We have clear policies against this type of content and we’ve removed Chef Pete Evans’ Facebook Page for repeated violations of these policies.’

Evans took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to address the incident.

‘This is an extremely serious threat to my business model!’ he wrote.

The disgraced chef also on Thursday urged Sydneysiders to ‘not get tested’ for COVID-19 amid the growing Northern Beaches cluster.

Evans shared an article to his Facebook page about the first two cases in the area – before it quickly jumped to 17 later in the day.

‘Outbreak… Two cases,’ Evans captioned the post, followed by clown-face emojis.

‘Can you see where this is heading again? Testing for the common cold? Do not get tested.’

Evans is not a trained doctor and has no medical qualifications.
