A woman has been charged with the September shooting death of her ex-boyfriend, who was found covered in bedding and blood in a Queens apartment, police said.
The suspect, Haiyan Deng, 31, was nabbed in New Mexico and charged with killing Justin Li, 26, of Whitestone, cops said.
Deng is charged with murder, two counts of weapon possession, possession of stolen property, assault, criminal mischief and harassment, police announced late Friday.
Li was shot in the head inside Deng’s home on 39th Avenue near Union Street in Flushing, police said.
The mortally wounded Li was found Sept. 19, after the victim’s wife called cops, asking for authorities to check on him, police said Saturday. Deng was not in the apartment at the time.
It was initially unclear how Li died. Cops found him lying face up on the bed, bloody and wrapped in bedding. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Deng’s arraignment was pending, police said. The NYPD on Saturday offered no other details regarding the circumstances of her arrest.
