David Boies, who represents the 38-year-old, said several witnesses were willing to state that the Duke of York and Ms Roberts – who is suing the Prince for rape under her married name of Virginia Giuffre – had met.
In a car-crash Newsnight interview in November 2019, Prince Andrew said he could not recall meeting Ms Roberts. He also claimed he could not have had sex with her in 2001 because he was out with his daughter at Pizza Express in Woking.
The Duke further said a medical condition after being shot at during the Falklands War left him unable to sweat – although Ms Roberts, who was 17 at the time, claimed that they danced together in a London nightclub and he had been ‘sweating profusely’.
‘We have four or five or six witnesses who will place them together,’ Mr Boies said in an interview with The Sun.
Among them are Florida hairdresser Johanna Sjoberg; and Steve Scully, who worked for paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew is seen for the first time on Friday since his friend Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted of child sex trafficking
Ms Giuffre claims that she was forced, at the age of 17, to have sex with Prince Andrew three times, including at Ghislaine Maxwell’s London mews house where they were pictured together.
Speaking of the photo showing the Duke with her, Mr Boies added: ‘If Prince Andrew is even a little reflective, he’ll understand that the idea you can deny what numerous witnesses testified to, what photographs show, what plane logs demonstrate . . . the idea that you can blame and shame a victim to distract attention for your own conduct, doesn’t work.’
Ms Sjoberg was lured by Maxwell into Epstein’s ‘pyramid of sexual abuse’ as a college student 20 years ago – and says that within days, she met Prince Andrew at the tycoon’s Manhattan mansion.
Now 41, she alleges it was there that the Queen’s second son groped her in an incident during which a latex Spitting Image puppet of the Duke was used to abuse Miss Roberts with Maxwell in attendance.
Andrew vehemently denies Ms Giuffre’s assertions and says he cannot recall meeting Miss Roberts, despite the picture of them together at Maxwell’s London home in March 2001. (Above, the infamous photo of Virginia Roberts, Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell was taken at Maxwell’s home in Belgravia)
According to legal documents, the alleged inappropriate conduct did not end there.
Ms Giuffre, now a mother of three, claims that after the Spitting Image incident, she and Andrew slept together in a massage room at Epstein’s house dubbed ‘the dungeon’.

Meanwhile, Steve Scully claims to have witnessed the Duke of York kissing and grinding against a blonde woman wearing a bikini – whom he insists was Andrew’s sex accuser – by a swimming pool on Epstein’s ‘Paedo Island’ Little Saint James between 2001 and 2004.
Mr Boies said that his legal team might also get Maxwell’s youngest victim, ‘Jane’, who was just 14, to testify.
During Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial, she told how she flew on billionaire Epstein’s plane, the ‘Lolita Express’, with Andrew.
The news comes as Prince Andrew broke cover for the first time today and appeared to be visiting his mother the Queen having been holed up at his Windsor lodge over Christmas with his ex-wife and children now going on a ski holiday without him.

On Friday, a US judge threw out the Duke’s legal team’s bid to halt proceedings in the sex abuse lawsuit against him.
The Duke of York’s lawyers had wanted Ms Giuffre to sit for a two-hour deposition to discuss where she was ‘domiciled’ as she now lives in Perth, Australia.
However, District Judge Lewis Kaplan denied the bid, saying the civil case could continue.
The under-fire royal was seen for the first time since Ghislaine Maxwell, 60, his friend of many years, was convicted of multiple counts of child sex trafficking for her billionaire paedophile boyfriend Epstein.
Andrew looked serious as he drove himself and a bodyguard towards the castle in a top of the range Range Rover at around 12.40pm, suggesting he may have been seeing his mother for lunch, because she always eats at 1pm sharp.
The isolated son of the Queen is in his lodge close to his mother’s Windsor Castle home today while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson flew off to see in 2022 on a skiing holiday with their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.
Despite staying silent since Maxwell’s conviction in New York, friends of Andrew insisted he had suffered ‘no body blows’ during the trial and is confident Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s civil case against him will be thrown out on January 4.
However, Epstein and Maxwell’s victims, and US lawyers, believe the ninth in line to the throne should be ‘quaking in his boots’ and ‘feeling very, very uncomfortable right now’.
On Tuesday, the Duke of York’s legal team urged an American court to rule it has no jurisdiction to hear Virginia Giuffre’ sex claims against him since the royal and his accuser both lived outside of the US.
Andrew has accused Ms Giuffre of pretending to be a US resident when she lives in Australia.
Earlier this week, the Duke’s lawyers filed a five-page motion saying the court does not have jurisdiction over Mrs Giuffre’s claims because she says she is a citizen of the US state of Colorado when she actually lives in Perth in a £1million home with her husband and children.
