I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here premieres on Monday – and we’ve got your first look at 2022’s stars.
It’s safe to say I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here‘s 2022 line-up will be happy to have a famous cook in camp – and even some big muscles – courtesy of the first two stars.
Poh Ying Leow of MasterChef fame was the first celebrity announced by Channel 10 on Sunday, followed by former AFL coach, Nathan Buckley.

A chef and a coach walk into a jungle
Poh tells the Herald Sun exclusively, “I thought I might get bossy in the kitchen – and I did.
“But look, if everyone can have good food why not [take over]? You really don’t want someone who’s never cooked and saying ‘well, I should give it a go tonight’. I was all, ‘Ah, no!’. When food is so scarce we have to make the best of the meals.
“I was very bossy and I’m not ashamed of it.”
And we have to agree with Poh. When you’re getting served up sad portions of buffalo balls and the like, you want a professional flavour master on the tools.

As for Nathan, whose marriage breakdown has made headlines in the past year, he’ll bring a bit of muscle to camp.
He tells the Herald Sun exclusively, “The network caught me in a pretty reflective space and with the massive changes that were happening in my life I was up for getting out of my comfort zone,” he admits.
“I would never have imagined that I would do something like this given a million opportunities but I had the time and the space to do it so I took the leap.”
Hinting that things don’t go too smoothly for the footy star, he says, “There are a lot of laughs, a lot of tears. I think you see the best and worst of people when they are out of their comfort zones.”
