Linda Lusardi and her husband Sam Kane celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary in style on Sunday, as they enjoyed a lavish meal prepared by their son, Jack.

The former glamour model, 61, took to Instagram to share a series of snapshots throughout the day as she and Sam, 51, marked their big day.

And she appeared impressed when her 21-year-old actor son and his makeup artist girlfriend Toni Howard laid on a meal for them, which they enjoyed in the garden.

The erstwhile Page 3 girl looked sensational as she sat poolside wearing a flattering green sleeveless dress, which she teamed with doorknocker earrings.

Smiling as she sat beside her husband, who donned a blue button-down shirt, the star wrote: ‘Bless them they have set up a table by the pool and starters are served.’

Earlier, as she prepared for her evening of fine dining, the brunette beauty shared a video, in which she said: ‘Well, Jack and Toni are making us a lovely meal in the garden and have asked us to come and get dressed up.

‘Feels really weird putting earrings on and eyelashes and a dress on to sit in your own garden, but it’s our anniversary, so it’s got to be done!’

Later, the star posted a snap of her entrée of grilled fish and vegetables, writing: ‘Main course. Never knew my son @jackkane was such a good cook. Wow x.’

Earlier in the day, Linda took to the image-sharing platform to upload a snap of herself and her husband posing together at an event in the past.

Linda’s celebratory posts come after she revealed she is still feeling the impact of her COVID-19 battle, and that her hair has started to fall out.

The star also revealed her husband Sam, who was hospitalised at the same time as her with the virus, is still suffering from heart palpitations.

Model Linda made a miraculous recovery despite being ‘at death’s door’, but she is still dealing with the residual effects of her battle.

She told The Sun: ‘Sam’s had heart palpitations quite badly, and he’s under a cardiologist at the moment. They can’t see anything specifically wrong.

‘I’ve had some hair loss which has been a bit distressing. I still haven’t got the energy I had before although I’m getting there. Every week’s a bit better.’

Linda was hospitalised for 10 days and required oxygen and was attached to a drip during her terrifying ordeal.

The Dancing on Ice star suffered from severe chest pain, fever and vomiting and at times hoped she would not wake up.

Linda’s children, Lucy, 24, and Jack, 21, have also struggled with the family’s double scare.

She said: ‘The mental trauma of it has touched us all even though it was me who was sick. My children had to deal with the fact they might lose both of us and then me, and the mental effect it’s had on us has been very traumatic really.’

The family has opted against undergoing counselling with the NHS and are trying to support each other for the time being.

Linda revealed she has hardly left the home since she returned from her hospital stay and she now lives in fear of contracting the virus again.

She previously admitted she thought the virus was man-made after vomiting up blue liquid.

She claimed that the condition is simply ‘unnatural’ and has seriously considered the fact that it is a manufactured condition.

‘It’s nothing like you’ve ever experienced before. I’ve had the flu before. To me, it doesn’t feel natural,’ Linda told Fubar Radio’s Access All Areas.

‘I mean I um and ah whether it’s man made because it doesn’t feel like anything I’ve ever, ever experienced before. To be vomiting up blue doesn’t seem normal to me!’

She elaborated: ‘I think in the next two years we’re going to find out a lot more about it all. I don’t feel like it’s a natural thing.

‘If it has come from a bat in a Chinese market then maybe that’s why, but it’s a very odd disease.’

She explained that having the near-death experience has made her reevaluate things: ‘It’s made me value my life a lot more and when I first came out I was just elated to just be alive.

‘I felt so responsible for my children… Just the thought that they may not have had us anymore was terrifying.’

The former glamour model surprisingly noted: ‘I think it’s made me prioritise things a bit more and realise that showbiz really, really means nothing.’
