A gambler was escorted out of a world-famous Las Vegas casino in handcuffs after he entered without wearing a mask.

The man was escorted out of the 4 Queens casino after four security guards – all wearing face coverings – restrained him.

He was reportedly in breach of Las Vegas’s strict coronavirus rules which mandate wearing a mask in public spaces.

Only those with medical breathing issues or with certain disabilities are exempt under the rules which came into force on June 26.

In footage taken at the casino, four security guards can be seen trying to restrain the man as onlookers watch.

The man can be heard shouting ‘no’ and ‘are you serious’.

The man grabs onto the banister of a nearby set of stairs but one of the guards reaches for his hand and pulls it behind his back.

The man can be heard saying ‘help me’ before another man walks over.

The other man has his mask pulled down towards his neck, as do onlookers who stop nearby to watch, The Sun reports.

The guards work to put the alleged rule-breaker in handcuffs before leading him away.

It was reported Friday that the US recorded nearly 25,000 coronavirus deaths in July and cases doubled in at least 18 states as the pandemic’s epicenter starts to shift to the Midwest.

Deaths rose at least 19 percent in July compared to June to more than 152,000 total and nearly 1.8 million new cases were recorded out of the total 4.4 million, an increase of 66 percent in comparison with last month

During the month, 33 out of 50 states had one-day record increases in cases and 19 set records for how much deaths rose in 24 hours, according to a Reuters tally.

Meanwhile, as former hotspot states such as New York and New Jersey report record-lows, Middle America is becoming the new hotspot.

Cases doubled in Nevada – as well as Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia, according to the tally.

Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York – once the nation’s epicenter -had the lowest increases, with cases rising seven percent or less.

The epicenter has now showed signs of shifting to the Midwest while Sunbelt states were hopeful that new infections and deaths were starting to decline.
