We’ve all experienced the infuriating way predictive text sometimes makes us look like fools.  

But messages posted to Instagram account Funny Texts reveal the comebacks can often be as hilarious as the smartphone mishaps.

The Instagram account shares amusing exchanges from around the world that have taken place via messaging apps – from brutal put-downs to hilarious misunderstandings. 

One message shared on the social media feed is from a mother who quipped ‘I made you’ in response to her child telling her she ‘never makes jokes’.

Others show failed romantic moves as well as a few attempts at being funny that backfire.
