A stunning young woman looks unrecognisable after ditching date night to lose over five stone.
Adrienne Marsh, 24, from Hoxton, London, began to pile on the pounds after being wined and dined – twice a week – by her partner James Price, 24.
The designer and marketing assistant would usually have a two course meal and cocktails along with snacks throughout the day.
Adrienne began to feel miserable and doubt herself due to her size 18 frame, tipping the scale at 16st 10lbs at her heaviest.
But, after a healthy diet and some exercise, she now oozes confidences in a size 12 at 11st 5lbs.

In January 2019, Adrienne decided ‘enough is enough’ and traded date nights for walks and nights in with home cooked food.
She said: ‘It is hard to determine exactly how many calories I would consume on one date night as every restaurant varies but my go-to starter would be loaded potato skins, which can be 2,000 calories alone.
‘Followed by either a pizza, chicken burger and chips or a pasta dish, which again can range from 1,000-2,000 calories and washed down with cocktails.
‘Five Pina Coladas are 870 calorie, so a meal would rack up around 4,000 calories.’

Adrienne, who now showcases her beautiful physique in bold looks (pictured) said she started to feel self-conscious about her weight when she realised it was keeping her from buying the clothes she wanted
The self-confessed snacker used to also eat sandwiches, crisps and sweets throughout the day during 2017 and 2018.
She adds: ‘I found myself trying to keep up with what he could eat and having bigger portions.
‘He was OK about my weight gain and I was comfortable until I couldn’t find any nice clothes that fitted me.
‘I couldn’t even wear the dress I wanted for my graduation because it didn’t come in my size.

Lunch – Cheese and ham sandwich, crisps, coffee and diet coke.
Snacks – Sugary sweets and crisps
Dinner – Loaded potato skins with a pasta or pizza main dish.
Date night – loaded potato skins for starter and chicken pizza/chicken burger and fries/pasta for main.
Drinks – Five sex on the beach cocktails, Malibu and Coke or pina colada cocktail.
Breakfast – Fruit
Lunch – Cambridge Weight Plan shake and salad
Dinner – Fish/chicken/turkey and green vegetables
Now leading a much healthier lifestyle and having lost five stone, Adrienne is all smiles and confident

‘I was really unhappy and hated the way I looked.
‘I began to question everything I did because I thought I wasn’t good enough to have an opinion and assumed people won’t take me seriously because of my weight.’
Adrienne admits being ‘harsh’ on herself and would often put herself down which prompted her to change her ways.
But she was unable to ditch the carbs alone.
She signed up to The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan and now eats 1,000 calories per day.

She now oozes with confidence weighing 11st 5lbs.
She said: ‘I didn’t believe in myself at all and struggled to motivate myself to lose weight which is why I signed up to The 1:1 Diet.
‘I wanted to see quick results – I lost a stone in the first month.
‘I am now so much happier and confident. I know that my opinion is valid.

The designer and marketing assistant (pictured left before the weight loss) explained the couple had stopped eating out and preferred home-cooked meals that were easier to portion up. Adrienne, pictured right with James after her weight loss, admitted being ‘harsh’ on herself and would often put herself down, which prompted her to change her ways
‘I have replaced crisps and sandwiches for a Cambridge Weight Plan snack such as meal replacement shake or a bar.
‘James and I will eat in so I can control my portion sizes and have chicken or fish with vegetables.
‘We have the odd date night but I tend to have lighter options like a salad and stick to gin and slimline tonic.’
Adrienne is now a consultant for the Cambridge 1:1 diet plan.
She said: ‘I am now using my own journey to help others.
‘I want people to know that the Cambridge diet plan isn’t for middle aged women – it is for anyone who wants to change their lifestyle for the better.’
