Expensive skincare gadgets are flying off shelves across Australia as men and women look to treat the dryness caused by cool winter temperatures.

But now Aldi Australia has launched a budget face cleansing device for only $9.99 as part of its weekly Special Buys.

The Lacura product is similar in style and functionality to popular Foreo LUNA models, which retail between $75 and $299.

The Aldi device is available in two colours including turquoise and pink and is made from a silicone material.

It uses ‘sonic vibration’ to cleanse the skin, unclog pores, exfoliate and boost blood circulation.

The product also removes dirt, oil, makeup and dead skin from deep within the pores, leaving the skin looking bright and feeling smooth.

On the Aldi Mums Facebook page, one woman asked whether the product was worth buying and if it worked well.

‘I love mine,’ one woman said, another added: ‘For ten bucks you can’t go wrong.’

‘I’ve got a Foreo one, the $75 one. I don’t think it’s amazing but is okay! For $10 I’d get the Aldi one!!’ a third said.

Another woman said she purchased a similar product from Daiso for only $2.

Similarly to the Foreo LUNA facial cleaners (pictured), the Aldi device uses 'sonic vibration' to cleanse the skin, unclog pores, exfoliate and boost blood circulation

But some customers weren’t familiar with the device and didn’t know how to use it.

‘I have no idea what these are for,’ one woman said, another added: ‘They look like make up brush cleaners.’

For those who haven’t tried the beauty buy and are keen to give it a go, the $10 Aldi product might be the perfect opportunity.

The product will be sold across Aldi stores nationally, but customers should act quickly as it will only be available while stock lasts.
