An Atlanta mother has been charged with felony murder for allegedly causing the death of her three-month-old daughter by intentionally crashing her car into a vehicle carrying the infant.
The incident took place at around 7pm on Monday on Chappell Road near Eason Street in northwest Atlanta.
According to police, a preliminary investigation has revealed that Undra Henderson, 27, had placed his daughter, Khy’undra Hendrson, inside his Honda sedan and was driving away when the baby’s mother, 21-year-old Titayanna Phillips, raced after them.

The woman then allegedly used her black SUV to ram Henderson’s sedan multiple times, which caused the man to lose control of his car and crash into a telephone pole, reported WSB-TV.
When police officers arrived on the scene, they found baby Khy’undra and her father injured inside his mangled car.
The critically injured infant was rushed to a hospital, where she later died. Her father remains in the hospital in stable condition.

Phillips has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault, reported 11Alive. Police have not said what motivated the incident.
Henderson commented on the fatal crash on Facebook early Tuesday morning, writing: ‘Um blessed to be alive but without khy’undra this sht don’t even matter.’
